How did the reservation develop? The today's Lake cross beam reservation had originally a surface of one million acre and with the contract from 19 February 1867 was based. Only less than 117,000 acres remained today to the reservation.

Current living conditions: The country of the Lake cross beam reservation is suitable for the agriculture and cattle breeding.

There are only very little industry and jobs is RSR. Less than 10% of the master members have a job.

At present 62% this Indian under the poverty border live.
