Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Act of Congess approved February nineteenth, nineteen hundred and twelve (Thirty-seventh Statutes at Large, page sixty-seven), being “An Act to provide for the sale of the surface of the segregated coal and asphalt land of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations, and for other purposes,” be, and the same is hereby, amended to provide that the classification and appraisement of the surface of said segregated lands as required by said Act and the classification and appraisement of the improvements thereon as required by section eighteen of the Act of Congress approved August twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and twelve (Thirty seventh Statutes at Large, pages five hundred and eighteen to five hundred and thirty-one), shall be completed not later than sixty days from the date of approval of this resolution: Provided, That at the expiration of such time any classification, appraisement, or other work incident thereto remaining unfinished shall be completed by the Secretary of the Interior under rules and regulations to be prescribed by him, and the sum of $5,000, to be paid out of the Choctaw and Chickasaw tribal funds, is hereby appropriated for such purpose.
