Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in case num-

bered HB 76 heretofore filed in the Court of Claims under and in pursuance of an Act of Congress entitled “An Act authorizing the Chippewa Indians of Minnesota to submit claims to the Court of Claims,” approved May 14, 1926 (Forty-fourth Statutes at Large, page 555), wherein the Chippewa Indians of Minnesota are parties plaintiff and the United States is party defendant, if the Court of Claims shall determine that the said Chippewa Indians are entitled to recover a judgment against the United States upon the cause of action therein set forth, the said court shall further determine whether such judgment, or any part thereof, shall be paid by the United States out of funds held by the United States in trust for the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians of Minnesota, and if the court shall so determine and said funds are found inadequate, then the unsatisfied portion of said judgment shall be paid by the United States, but in no event shall any part of the land of the Red Lake Reservation be used in any way in payment thereof; and the said Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians is hereby authorized, on the approval of this Act, to appear in said suit by their attorneys employed in accordance with the provisions of existing law, and defend their rights in the matter.
