By virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of the Interior by section 4 of the act of March 3, 1927 (44 Stat. 1347), it is ordered as follows:

The Departmental order of September 1, 1939, temporarily withdrawing lands for Indian use in aid of proposed legislation to adjust Navajo Indian land matters in New Mexico, is hereby revoked so far as it affects the following-described land:

NEW MEXICO PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN

T. 23 N., R. 12 W.,
Sec. 29.

The area described contains 640 acres.

The released land is embraced in State exchange application, New Mexico 011851, by which the offered land will benefit a Federal land program. The land, therefore, is not subject to the provisions contained in the act of September 27, 1944 (58 Stat. 747; U. S. C. 279-284), as amended, granting preference rights to veterans of World War II, the Korean conflict, and others.
