Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That hereafter all lands ceded under the act entitled An act to authorize the sale of what is known as the Red Lake Indian Reservation, in Minnesota, approved February twentieth, nineteen hundred and four, and undisposed of, shall be subject to homestead entry at the price of four dollars per acre, payable as provided in section three of said act, for all lands not heretofore entered; and for all lands embraced in canceled entries the price shall be the same as that at which they were originally entered: Provided, That where such entries have been or shall hereafter be canceled pursuant to contests, the contestant shall have a preference right to enter the land embraced in such canceled entry, as prescribed in the act of July twenty-sixth, eighteen hundred and ninety-two: Provided further, That all lands entered under this act shall, in addition to the payments herein provided for, be subject to drainage charges, if any, authorized under the act entitled An act to authorize the drainage of certain lands in the State of Minnesota, approved May twentieth, nineteen hundred and eight.
