Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That there is hereby appro-
priated, out of any funds in the Treasury of the United States to the credit of the Spokane Indians in the State of Washington, not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $2,000 for the building and maintenance of roads on the Spokane Indian Reservation, in Stevens County, Washington, said amount to be spent under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior: Provided, That said $2,000 shall not be available until Stevens County, Washington, appropriates $1,000 for the building and maintenance of roads on the Spokane Indian Reservation.
